Overall, it's great base for exploring Funchal attractions. Near to the downtown, 10 minutes on foot. On-site restaurant uva was a bonus, had dinner there.

This place is perfect to stay if you visit madeira botanical garden. Boho Bistro, located within 5 minutes' walk, is a good dining option. Great location, amazing prices.
